hat were you earning when you were 25 years old? For Jennifer Lawrence, who topped the list, she has been estimated  at US$52 million pre-tax, thanks to top grossing blockbuster film series The Hunger Games and X-Men as well as a major contract with Dior. 
Film series are certainly lucrative with Scarlett Johansson at US$35.5 million - she starred in Avengers: Age of Ultron and is also the face of Dolce & Gabbana beauty and Sodastream. Third is Melissa McCarthy at US$23 million who has had huge box office success and is in the works to start her own fashion line, then at fourth it’s Chinese actress Fan Bingbing with US$21 million. Fan is one of the biggest stars in China and regularly attends fashion week where she is known for her dramatic and over-the-top fashion choices (girl loves couture). She also starred in X-Men: Days of Future Past and has contracts with Chopard and L’Oreal. The numbers are based off what they earnt from July 2014 to June 2015, taking into account box office data, IMDB and Nielsen and less costs like management fees.

13. Meryl Streep, US$8 million
14. Amanda Seyfried, US$8 millon
15. Sandra Bullock, US$8 million
16. Emma Stone, US$6 million
17. Mila Kunis, US$6 million
18. Natalie Portman, US$6 million
In less positive news, only four actresses made over US$20 million, while 21 actors hit over that mark. And although Lawrence’s US$51 million sounds impressive, it’s still far behind the highest earning actor Robert Downey Jr (who starred in Iron Man) who earned US$80 million.
